Mark Kirk - R. Illinois
Michael Castle - R. Delaware
Michael Ferguson - R. New Jersey
Christopher Shays - R. Connecticut

It's weird that all 4 of the sponsors are Republicans though. ???  That notwithstanding, everyone needs to get on the horn to your Congressmen and tell them you're against this bill!!!  Below is a link to where you can find out who they are, as well as contact info.

That's exactly it right there!  There's already more than enough gun laws on the books, they just need to be enforced! :tickedoff  All that more laws do is hurt law-abiding citizens.

You guys/gals better hope McCain wins the election.  He's already said that he would not support reauthorizing this bill.  Obama on the other hand.......... >:(

I'm just thowing this out there, but right now sure seems like a time this country needs a civil war, our constitution is being torn to pieces and our flag is litterally being torn to pieces, there are quite a few people in this country that have absolutely no patriotism. To name a few, Michael Moore, those code pinkards, that church of crazy people that say God likes dead soldiers and Obama. I think if Obama wins he will make a few historic things, first black man to be president, record breaking time for being assasinated and the first president to not solute the flag. I think it is more like they are succeding because our constitution would work fine if people had a little bit more patriotism.

That's it right there.  This country has become so diluted that people actually forgot what it's supposed to mean to be AMERICAN. >:(
