Ole Ellwood and I decided to combat our cabin fever with a little rabbit hunt today and it did not disappoint. Of course almost every rabbit went by Ellwood hence the title of this thread. I did manage to kill 2 but I think I just scared them to death. My new theory this season has been "If you put enough lead out there.... something is bound to run into it sooner or later!!" Ellwood also lessened the rabid squirrel population by one today.    I sure had fun today and was glad to finally be out of the house,even after working graveyard last night. Come to think of it I think it is bedtime.

So did you have to use double barrel with slugs on the squirrel? They got tough hides, and gristle plates. 9mm's just make them angry.
