According to PETA, the proposed replacement for the Solid Rock Church would show Jesus holding a lamb along with a banner saying, “Blessed are the merciful. Go Vegan.” In a letter to the church, PETA fully embraced its typical animal rights propaganda by co-opting a message of faith, “An ever-growing number of Christians believe that eating the flesh of God’s creatures supports the unholy cruelty of today’s filthy factory farms and slaughterhouses.”
